After radio today with Bobby Collins, I get to enjoy the night with friends before Thanksgiving: my first day off since taking the Comix gig. Oh, let’s not kid ourselves, I’ll be working at some point…just not at such a feverish pace. Christian and I are skipping the Rainbow Room this year. It’s fun to get dressed up but the food and atmosphere isn’t THAT good for the cost. So, no annual photo and no fancy car and no scmancy dress in the cold weather. We’re opting for cozy warmth and stick to your ribs dining at one of our favorites. We have much to be thankful for in this year of major milestones and want to honor our good fortune with simplicity.
