>Dreamgirls was awesome! The audience broke into applause about three times. I love it when that happens: when a bunch of strangers in a dark movie theater can collectively agree that what they just saw was spectacular. So spectacular that they can’t quietly enjoy it but they have to cheer out loud to the two dimensional actors, “BRA-freakin’-VO!”
Now I’m off to Comix to meet up with Scott (Rev. Ramsey) and Brian and Brian’s cousins to celebrate Brian’s birthday by watching one of the sold out Janeane Garofalo / Marc Maron shows. ALL five shows were sell outs! I’ve been so stressed and tense the last two weeks so I’m pretty excited to get down there, soak up the buzz of a sellout weekend in person and have some fun.
