>Comedy Central Just Presented Tom Shillue

>Tom Shillue‘s 1/2 hour special is on Comedy Central right now. He taped his special with the same audience as Christian, so I had the pleasure of seeing him perform live. I missed the original airing but thanks to his newsletter, I knew to tune in tonight for the re-run.

And, hey, I’m in it! Nobody mentioned it that night but just they cut to me laughing at one of his jokes. I feel kind of bad. If I were him, I wouldn’t want my pal’s girlfriend in the shot. Sorry, Tom, but I promise I was way in the back. And, you were great, by the way! Tom is a super guy and is practically guaranteed to have a sitcom deal one day.

Tom also came by to the big fundraising party Monday night benefiting the production of This Isn’t Working thanks to my newsletter. Tickets for the show are on sale now, so come on down and support live Fringe theater. Here are the details:

For anyone who’s been told “Sick days are for the weak” comes This Isn’t Working, Rule of 3‘s production of short comedies drawn from the merger between professional crisis and personal hell. Written by Francesco Marciuliano, the nationally syndicated cartoonist behind Sally Forth, directed by Jefferson Jowdy, and produced as part of the 2005 New York International Fringe Festival.
